About our products

Sillage Circle sells pre-owned, returned, and lightly used fragrances. Each item is physically inspected, batch-verified, and pH-tested before listing. We make every effort to describe each bottle accurately, including fill level, condition, and any known imperfections.

However, as we deal in second-hand goods, we cannot guarantee that a fragrance will meet every individual's personal expectations regarding scent, longevity, or performance. Fragrance is subjective and can be affected by storage history, age, and individual skin chemistry.

Authentication & verification

We make every reasonable effort to source bottles from trusted individuals, retailers, and verified resellers. Every item goes through a multi-step verification process including visual inspection, batch code check, and pH safety test.

However, we are an independent resale platform, not the original manufacturer. Fragrance authentication is a complex field, and while we apply consistent standards, we cannot provide an absolute guarantee of authenticity on every single item. Sophisticated counterfeits exist in the market, and even experienced authenticators can occasionally be deceived.

In the event of a suspected counterfeit:

If you believe you have received a counterfeit item, contact us at hello@sillagecircle.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number, a description of your concerns, and photos of the bottle, packaging, and batch code. We will conduct a thorough investigation. If the item is confirmed to be non-authentic, we will issue a full refund including return shipping costs. Our investigation may take up to 14 business days.

Safety disclaimer:

Our pH test is a basic safety check to detect contamination or substitution of the liquid. It is not a substitute for professional laboratory analysis. If you have any concerns about a product after receiving it, discontinue use and contact us immediately.

What we stand behind

  • The item is authentic to the best of our knowledge and matches its listed batch code
  • The condition, fill level, and any defects are accurately described
  • The item has passed our safety inspection (pH test and visual inspection)

What we do not guarantee

  • Specific scent performance or longevity
  • Compatibility with individual skin types or sensitivities
  • That a fragrance will smell identical to a freshly produced bottle

Pricing

All prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF).

Limitation of liability

Sillage Circle is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of products purchased on our platform.

These terms are governed by Swiss law. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Switzerland.
